M.Sc in Nursing

M.Sc. Nursing, short for Master of Science in Nursing, is a master’s-level program. The course aims to cater to the fields of nursing and applied science. Duration of M.Sc. nursing for two years. Delivery Method The nursing course of the M.Sc. includes lectures, seminars, practical work, and extensive lab and field training. Students are required to submit their research thesis in the last semester of the program. In the final evaluation, students’ class assignments, research projects, and end-of-semester exams are taken into consideration. Eligibility criteria for M.Sc. include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of nursing. The course syllabus is divided into two years. In their first year of MSc. Nursing, students study advanced nursing topics, clinical nursing, nursing education, research, and statistics. In the second year of the program, students study nursing management and work on their research thesis.

B.Sc in Nursing (Basic)

04-year duration: B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic) Course. B.Sc in Nursing (Post Basic)

The B.Sc. in Nursing (Post-Basic) is an undergraduate program that lasts two years. Nursing Science and Midwifery

Diploma in Midwifery

A midwife provides advice, care, and support to women and newborns during and after pregnancy, labor, and early delivery. She helps women make decisions about various health services under their care during pregnancy and advises them on health and child care. A midwife is personally responsible for the health of both mother and baby and recommends seeing a gynecologist if medical complications arise during pregnancy or birth. A midwife provides services in hospitals and community health centers.

Admission eligibility

Applicants must have passed both SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations from any group, preferably science, from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education or any other Board in Bangladesh. Applicants must have a GPA less than 2.5 in the SSC and 2.5 in the HSC examination.
